C-Pride Scholars Summer Program (Virtual)

Dates: July 6th-22 (Optional Week -July 26-29); Mon-Thurs 9:00am-12:00pm
Description: C-PRIDE SCHOLARS Program works with rising 9th and 10th grade students via Zoom to prepare for a successful transition to their next school year through a holistic summer experience that bolsters confidence and deepens their commitment to personal achievement. For 2021, this program will explore Arts and Activism, Environmental and Social Justice, and Academic Confidence. Students will earn $10.35/hr. for every hour of attendance, with the potential to earn a bonus of a free Chromebook (must meet requirements to earn bonus).

STEP Program (In-person)

Description: The Success Training and Employment Program (STEP) is funded by the DELCO Office of Workforce Development. Students intern with local employers in the City of Chester and surrounding areas and earn $10.35/hour while learning on-the-job skills and exploring a variety of careers.

Camp Garrett (In-person)

Garrett Williamson

Description: At Garrett Williamson, it's possible for families to access safe, high-quality, life-changing programs that empower their children to reach their fullest potential regardless of their financial situation or means. At Camp Garrett we want each camper to reach their fullest potential and have an amazing summer! Camp Garrett is located on a beautiful wooded 240-acre campus in Newtown Square, PA. Camp Garrett fosters a diverse and positive learning environment featuring weekly themes, daily pool time, nature activities, cooperative games, sports, arts, archery, garden activities and special events! We provide a healthy breakfast, lunch, and snack daily. Rising first-graders to 15 year-olds are welcome! Tuition is $320/week. Scholarships are also available and based on financial need. Dates: Enrollment open now for FALL 2021 Semester (8/23/2021 thru 12/15/2021). Registration deadline is 8/15/21.
Description: Associate Degrees in Behavioral Health Science, Business Management, Early Childhood Education and Human Services for ADULT students. All full-time students receive a partnership scholarship worth up to $10,000. When applied, this helps to bring a private college tuition closer to a public college tuition. Students are given snacks and a light meal during classes.
